The Westchester County Infiltration/ Inflow Effectiveness Evaluation recommended that a field investigation be conducted throughout the City of New Rochelle, in areas not included in the original SSES. This program consists of smoke testing, weiring, manhole and CCTV inspection, and will ultimately reduce the amounts of rain water and ground water getting into the sanitary sewers heading to the New Rochelle Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Savin is responsible for the pre-design field investigation, rehabilitation design and preparation of a flow reduction study report. The design includes pipelining and manhole rehabilitation.
